Job summary

Vasile Elevator, a market-leading designer and installer of commercial elevator interiors in South Florida, seeks an Interior Designer to bridge creative vision with technical feasibility. You will gather design intake, meet with clients, and produce sketches, renderings, and material samples for approvals.

Requirements include degrees in Interior Design/Architecture (or equivalent experience), strong MS Office and CAD software skills, and experience with ID drawings.

Qualifications

• College degree in Interior Design or Architecture; 2-year minimum, 4-year preferred.
• Experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
• Ample knowledge of materials and design demonstrated in interview.
• Strong MS Office proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Gather design intake information with Sales Reps and survey elevators and lobbies.
• Lead in-person client meetings to capture design preferences and project needs.
• Prepare sketches, renderings, and presentations; manage material samples.
• Provide deliverables and approvals with documentation for project management.
• Maintain and organize Material Sample Library and Showroom; coordinate with vendors.
• Support marketing with renderings, project portfolio, and site photos.
• Assist in obtaining material pricing and basic take-offs.
• Review engineering submittals for design intent before release.
• Run errands; company vehicle/mileage reimbursement provided.
