Job summary

Living Room is seeking a Server to join our team. You will educate members and guests on the menu, allergies, and Living Room standards while delivering an elevated dining experience.

You will collaborate with team members, enter orders accurately, and remain attentive to guest needs throughout service. The ideal candidate brings 2+ years in a similar role, strong hospitality, effective communication, and the ability to multitask during busy shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in similar capacity.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Thrives in fast-paced, high-volume environments and problem solving under pressure
• Hospitable, approachable, passionate about customer service
• Must be able to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
• Ability to take direction, work in a team and autonomously
• Tips certified and POS knowledge

Responsibilities

• Complete Service Standards training to become well-versed in our products, service protocols, and property standards
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with team members and leadership
• Ensure adherence to all trained processes by completing checklists for consistency
• Positively influence the dining experience by offering menu recommendations and upselling per Living Room standards
• Maintain open communication with Leadership and Executive Chef about allergies or issues
• Complete all checkout reports at shift end for accurate records
• Adhere to health and safety policies and company procedures
• Accommodate guest requests or propose alternatives aligned with business needs
• Verify orders are plated and served correctly to ensure an excellent dining experience
• Assist the team with expediting and managing service bar tickets for timely delivery
• Maintain cleanliness and stock in server alley and bar area
• Possess deep menu knowledge and make informed suggestions upon request
