Job summary

AT&T Hotel & Conference Center on the UT Austin campus is seeking a Gabriel's Bartender to craft traditional and elevated drinks, pour wine and beer, and deliver friendly, attentive service to guests at the bar.

The role requires a valid TABC certification and prior bartending or guest-service experience. Duties include handling payments, maintaining bar stock, and ensuring responsible service according to policy. Familiarity with UT campus operations is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active TABC certification required.
• Experience in bartending or customer service preferred.
• Ability to mix drinks quickly and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Prepare traditional and elevated mixed drinks, wine, and beer for guests.
• Take drink orders from servers and guests; ensure accurate orders.
• Receive payments and operate the cash register.
• Maintain bar stock and keep the area clean and organized.
• Check IDs to verify legal drinking age.
• Serve food to bar guests as needed.
• Support other duties as required by the supervisor.
