Job summary

El Chorro Lodge in Paradise Valley seeks a friendly banquet server to help set up and service elegant events against a backdrop of Camelback Mountain. You will prepare spaces, attend meetings, greet guests warmly, and ensure every detail meets our high hospitality standards.

This on-site, on-call role values team spirit, safety, and professional appearance, with certification requirements for food handling and alcohol service.

Qualifications

• High-volume food, beverage, banquet, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food regulations and liquor regulations is beneficial.
• Basic knowledge of table settings, banquet service standards, and service etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms and event spaces as directed by the Director of Banquets, General Manager, or Banquet Captain.
• Complete assigned side work and ensure function areas are polished, stocked, and ready for service.
• Attend pre-shift, pre-function, and service team meetings prepared and engaged.
• Welcome guests warmly, respond promptly to requests, and anticipate needs with thoughtful, attentive service.
• Serve and clear food and beverage courses according to the Banquet Event Order and direction from the Banquet Captain or Director of Banquets.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting ballroom or function area throughout each event.
• Provide service maintenance during programs, ensuring guests and event hosts have everything they need.
• Break down, clean, and reset event spaces following guest departure and event closing.
• Support bartending needs as assigned, including responsible beverage service and event setup, service, and cleanup.
