Job summary

5th HQ in Fort Lauderdale, FL is hiring an Electronic Assembler to join our production team. You will assemble electronic components, subassemblies, and finished products using a variety of hand tools while following quality and safety standards.

Entry-level candidates are welcome; prior assembly experience is a plus but not required. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM with a pay rate of $15.00 per hour, and opportunities to gain hands-on experience in electronics

Qualifications

• Basic math skills.
• Previous experience as assembler.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks requiring use of arms, legs, and full body movement, including lifting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components and subassemblies according to production specifications.
• Use hand tools such as crimpers, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, soldering tools, cements, press fits, or similar equipment.
• Count and place small parts onto a conveyor belt operating at a standard production speed.
• Arrange parts in a specific order or pattern based on work instructions.
• Operate light industrial or assembly equipment as required.
• Follow oral and written instructions accurately.
• Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
