Job summary

Ohio County Board of Education is seeking a Wellness Coach for Bethlehem Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year. The role reports to the Principal and aims to support county wellness goals through school-based activities and parent/teacher collaboration.

The position follows the district salary schedule based on degree and experience, with a $150/year stipend provided upon fulfilling listed duties. Term is 200 days, with an annual stipend awarded after duties are completed.

Responsibilities

• Lead the school's wellness council and work with Principal to communicate with parents and develop and organize Wellness events/activities.
• Organize and conduct school level Wellness meetings on regular basis with minutes documented.
• Document all Wellness activities at the school and turn into Child Nutrition Director on form provided.
• Attend any County Wellness Council meetings.
• Foster a sense of Wellness and promote healthy school based activities to educate each school community.
• Evaluate annually (in collaboration with Principal) whether school is following county Wellness Policy via survey provided by Child Nutrition Director.
