Job summary

The Francis Howell School District is seeking a part-time Vacation Station Facilitator to support the Program Coordinator in planning and supervising a school-age program at the elementary site, creating an enriching environment that promotes both academic and social development.

The role requires attendance at meetings, emergency preparedness, and ongoing efforts to maintain program quality, safety, and engaging activities for students. 6:20 am start times and plan time are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 60 college credits preferred.
• Job-related experience is desirable.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Attend meetings, workshops, and activities organized by the Coordinator.
• Communicate and practice emergency plans for each center.
• Maintain program quality with engaging activities.
• Monitor students to keep them engaged academically and socially.
• Prepare and organize daily classroom activities and environment.
• Review records and reports for completeness and accuracy.
• Enhance services to ensure a safe, fun, educational environment.
• Review evacuation plans and training for staff compliance.
