Job summary

CALEX SPORTS INC seeks an Elementary Tennis Coach to run engaging tennis classes for Grades K-3 across Bay Area schools. The role emphasizes fun, activity, and skill development with opportunities to coach or assist in multiple campuses.

The position is part-time with a flexible schedule and requires reliable transportation. Prior tennis experience is beneficial but not mandatory; USPTA/PTR is a plus. Join a dynamic youth program focused on healthy activity.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old upon application.
• Experience teaching or playing tennis is preferred but not required.
• USPTA/PTR certification is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible, reliable, punctual, and enthusiastic.
• Ability to work independently and in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Lead groups of ages 5 – 10 in after-school tennis programs.
• Assist the lead coach in teaching and program management.
• Attend a two-day training/shadowing session.
• Transport tennis equipment to and from class and set up equipment.
• Take attendance and sign in/out students for each class.
