Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in education from an accredited college or university required.
• A Michigan Elementary Teaching Certificate

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate computer and technology instruction for students in kindergarten through third grade.
• Teach foundational computer skills using Chromebooks or district devices and other technology tools.
• Introduce and develop keyboarding and typing skills.
• Teach students to access, save, and manage digital work using district applications.
• Provide instruction in digital citizenship and online safety.
• Introduce computational thinking, sequencing, and basic coding concepts.
• Differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs and provide accommodations as required.
• Maintain an organized, positive, and safe learning environment.
