Job summary

Mastery Schools in Philadelphia is seeking inspired educators to join our team and help launch a new Technology program. We are committed to closing the CS access gap for students of color by building a comprehensive K-12 CS pathway and delivering engaging, standards-driven instruction.

In grades 3-5, you will use CodeHS, Common Sense Media, TypingClub, and project-based learning to develop digital literacy and CS concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and teaching certification required; commitment to underserved communities.
• Experience with data-driven instruction and engaging, standards-driven classroom practices.
• Ability to foster inclusive, joyful, student-centered learning environment.
• Willingness to participate in professional development and collaboration with coaches.
• Eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus and up to $5,000 relocation assistance.

Responsibilities

• Teach grades 3-5 Technology focusing on digital literacy and CS concepts.
• Use CodeHS, Common Sense Media, TypingClub, and project-based learning.
• Collaborate with principals and content teams; analyze student data to inform instruction.
• Engage families and build relationships to support student achievement.
• Develop lesson plans with leadership and central office resources.
