Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate in respective grade level, and endorsements in respective subject area; or meet requirements to obtain an emergency permit and meet emergency permit requirements until certification is issued.

Responsibilities

• Assesses students' skill levels and aligns goals to state/local standards.
• Provides instruction in respective subject areas with real-life applications.
• Teaches inquiry techniques and problem solving.
• Uses technology and software to develop lessons and assessments.
• Maintains records of attendance and grades and classroom discipline.
• Collaborates with staff across disciplines to integrate skills.
