  • Prepares daily lessons and activities

SUMMARY

An elementary teacher provides a developmentally appropriate educational program for students. They are responsible for supervising students within the classroom and other assigned areas, developing lesson plans and delivering instruction within established curriculum guidelines, collaborating with other teachers, professional staff, and administrators to improve instruction, and engaging parents/guardians in conversations with regard to instructional programs and student progress.

This role will be focused on elementary school students in Grade 5.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • A valid license from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
