Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with state teaching certification preferred.
• Prior experience teaching at the K-12 level preferred.
• Ability to teach two grades in one classroom.
• Strong knowledge of child development and classroom management.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan curriculum meeting school standards.
• Encourage development of students’ critical thinking skills.
• Prepare learning materials and assign homework.
• Take attendance and grade assignments.
• Document learning progress and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to maintain a healthy and safe learning environment.
• Report and document behavioral incidents.
