Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Certified by the State of Alabama in the appropriate area.
• Must meet highly qualified status as determined by Alabama State Department of Education
• Must meet background clearance requirements as specified by Alabama statutes and State Board of Education regulations.

Responsabilités

• Upholds school rules, regulations, and Board of Education policies.
• Participates in the efficient and effective operation of the school and system through meetings, conferences, and committee responsibilities.
• Abides by the standards established for teachers' professional and personal conduct by the Code of Ethics.
• Follows the courses of study approved by the State Board of Education and curriculum guides and textbooks.
• Assists in fostering student attitudes through teaching and citizenship values.
• Reports for duty before and after school as required by administration.
• Prepares for classes and maintains accurate records as required by law and policy.
• Evaluates student progress regularly and in accordance with established procedures.
