Job summary

Gresham-Barlow School District is seeking a Teacher for Elementary Grades 3/4 on a temporary contract for the 2026-2027 school year. The position is 1.00 FTE with duties including implementing curriculum, planning, and evaluating student progress.

Qualifications include Oregon Teaching License with Elementary Multiple Subjects PK-12 endorsement and First Aid Card. Salary will be prorated by FTE and contract dates; multilingual stipend of $958 is available for certified candidates.

Qualifications

• State of Oregon Teaching License with Elementary Multiple Subjects PK-12 endorsement and current First Aid Card.
• Bachelor's Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Teaches reading, language arts, social studies, mathematics, science, art, music, physical education, and health education following district goals.
• Develops lesson plans and instructional materials to support individual and small group instruction.
• Leads students through development of work samples and evaluates that work.
• Monitors state assessments and ensures compliance with district policies.
• Creates a safe, positive learning environment and communicates progress to parents/administration.
