Job description

Job Responsibilities:

1. Instructs assigned students employing varied instructional strategies; using technology where appropriate.
2. Works cooperatively with colleagues, parents, and administrators.
3. Plans instruction with teaching team members and instructional specialists.
4. Attends workshops and in-service seminars as prepared by the Assistant Superintendent to improve instruction.
5. Communicates regularly with parents and administration.
6. Performs other reasonably related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Elementary Massachusetts Certification required.
2. Demonstrated knowledge of varied instructional strategies.
3. Evidence of current coursework in elementary curriculum.
4. Knowledge of technology as an instructional tool.
5. Demonstrated understanding of sound growth and development principles.
6. Evidence of strong interpersonal skills.
