Job summary

You will collaborate with parents and students to build competencies for success in society and to foster intellectual, emotional, physical, and social development.

The role involves preparing lessons, administering assessments, providing interventions, and maintaining student records.

Qualifications

• Education/certification as Elementary Generalist or Elementary Self-Contained Teacher.
• Bachelor’s degree with passing score on ExCET/TExES exam or relevant content-area degree.
• Ability to teach using classical education curricula and methods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare effective lessons using classical traditional methods.
• Assess student progress with formative and summative assessments.
• Provide academic interventions for struggling students.
• Maintain grades and parent communication via school tools.
• Collaborate with Special Education and 504 teachers for accommodations.
• Participate in faculty meetings and teacher training workshops.
