Qualifications

• Texas certification for Elementary Generalist or Self-Contained required.
• Bachelor’s degree with passing ExCET/TExES.
• Exposure to classical education preferred.
• Ability to manage a classroom of 20–25 students.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lessons using classical traditional methods to motivate students.
• Assign lessons and correct classwork and homework promptly.
• Administer formative and summative assessments and report progress to parents.
• Provide academic interventions for struggling students.
• Maintain grades, calendar, and parent communication via school portal.
• Maintain classroom discipline and a conducive learning environment.
• Collaborate with Special Education and 504 teachers to implement accommodations.
• Participate in faculty meetings, conferences, and training workshops.
• Assist in marketing and student recruiting as necessary.
