Job summary

Qualifications

• Education/certification requirements as listed by the employer
• Ability to model and teach virtue through curriculum
• Experience or familiarity with classical education preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare effective lessons using classical traditional methods
• Assign and correct classwork in a timely manner
• Administer formative and summative assessments and report results to parents
• Provide academic interventions for struggling students
• Maintain grades and parent communication via the school’s tools
• Maintain classroom discipline and a conducive learning environment
• Communicate with students and parents about progress
• Participate in faculty meetings and professional development
• Support student recruitment activities
• Perform duties after school hours as assigned
