Job summary

Responsive Education Solutions is seeking a teacher to facilitate learning using classical traditional methods. You will prepare lessons, assess progress, and partner with parents to support student growth across intellectual, emotional, and social development.

The role emphasizes virtue-based instruction, classroom management for 20–25 students, and coordination with Special Education staff to ensure student needs are met.

Qualifications

• Must meet one of the listed Texas teaching qualifications.
• Option to hold a bachelor’s degree with a passing ExCET/TExES score for the target grade/content.
• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree with 18 credits in core subject areas to be taught.
• Bachelor’s degree plus one year of relevant work experience with a professional recommendation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare effective lessons and motivate students using classical methods.
• Assign lessons and correct work in a timely manner.
• Administer formative and summative assessments and report progress to parents.
• Provide academic interventions for struggling students.
• Maintain grades, calendar, and parent communication via the school system.
• Maintain a disciplined, engaging classroom environment.
• Support marketing and student recruitment activities when needed.
• Collaborate with Special Education and 504 teachers for accommodations.
