Job summary

Minneapolis Public Schools seeks an elementary teacher for Windom Elementary for the 2026-2027 school year. The position is a 0.40 FTE over 42 weeks, located on Windom campus with a focus on advancing STEM integration.

You will deliver rigorous instruction aligned to Minnesota standards, use varied assessments, collaborate with staff, and actively engage families to support student learning and district goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
• Minnesota teaching license or pending licensure.
• Master's degree preferred; urban/multicultural experience encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction aligned to state standards using inquiry-based learning.
• Collaborate with peers to implement best practices.
• Assess students' developmental, cognitive, and social needs and provide developmentally appropriate instruction.
• Collaborate and communicate regularly with families to support learning.
