Job summary

Oakland Schools seeks an enthusiastic Elementary Teacher for Huron Valley Schools. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate and Elementary Endorsement, with a Bachelor's degree or higher preferred, and join a collaborative team to design and implement curriculum. Start date is as soon as possible for the 2026-2027 school year.

The role reports to the Principal and requires strong communication and instructional skills to support student learning in a district setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must hold a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate
• Must hold an Elementary Endorsement

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred

LANGUAGE, MATHEMATICAL AND REASONING SKILLS:Ability to speak and write effectively. Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations. Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral format and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
