Qualifications

• Texas State Certification as an Elementary Teacher is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related discipline.
• Experience teaching at appropriate grade levels is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Uphold Catholic culture and classroom procedures as outlined by the teacher of record.
• Follow detailed instructions, deliver instruction, supervise students, and support duties for the community.
• Develop and administer elementary curriculum aligned with Archdiocesan goals.
• Create a safe classroom environment and facilitate small group instruction.
• Prepare lesson plans and adapt activities to student needs, including those with special needs.
• Assess student learning and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records of grades and attendance as required.
• Encourage parental involvement and maintain effective communication with families.
• Coordinate with grade-level staff for curriculum evaluation and meetings.
• Assist with classroom materials, inventory, and supplies requisition.
• Supervise students during activities outside class hours and during transportation.
• Administer standardized tests as per Archdiocesan programs.
