Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts teaching license with Special Education certification in Moderate Disabilities; Severe Disabilities certification preferred.
• Eligibility to teach in Massachusetts through the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).
• Master's degree and SEI endorsement.
• Experience working in special education, inclusion, or substantially separate classroom settings.
• Knowledge of Massachusetts special education regulations and IEP development.
• Experience designing and delivering individualized instruction for students with disabilities.
• Ability to work a structured, full-time, Monday-Friday schedule.

Responsibilities

• As a Special Education Teacher, you will provide individualized instruction and specialized support to elementary students in grades 1-5 within a Moderate Disabilities program.
• You will help maintain a structured, supportive learning environment that promotes academic, behavioral, social, and developmental growth while meeting each student's individual needs.
• Experience conducting academic evaluations, developing IEPs, and delivering specialized instruction tailored to students' abilities and learning goals.
