Qualifications

• Valid PA K-12 Special Education certification.
• Act 48 credits required/maintained for eligibility.
• Clearances: Child Abuse, FBI, PA State Police; Act 168 forms.
• Emergency certifications allowed in limited PDE-regulated situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities in inclusive/small-group/one-on-one settings.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and 504 Plans with timelines and documentation.
• Collect and analyze student performance data to monitor progress and adapt instruction.
• Communicate with parents/guardians and stakeholders regarding student progress and needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers on modifications and interventions.
• Stay informed on evidence-based practices for learning disabilities and appropriate modifications.
