Job summary

Milton Town School District seeks a Special Needs Programming Specialist to join our PreK–grade 4 level team in Milton, Vermont. The role emphasizes instruction for students with intensive needs and collaboration with a Speech/Language team, using assistive technology as needed.

Hours are 6.5 per day (32.5 per week). Benefits include health, dental, and life insurance. The pay range is $23.50 to $31.10 per hour, based on experience and education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
• Must meet Highly Qualified status.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to students with intensive needs at PreK–grade 4 level.
• Collaborate with Speech/Language team and other specialists.
• Integrate assistive technology and augmentative communication approaches in instruction.
