Job summary

Milton Town School District is seeking a Special Needs Programming Specialist for Milton High School in Milton, Vermont. The role requires a Bachelor’s level credential and experience supporting students with intensive needs or speech and language impairment.

The candidate should be able to operate with assistive technology and augmentative communication approaches, and work effectively as part of a team in a dynamic school setting. Hours are 6.5 per day (32.5 per week).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's level or ability to demonstrate the required competencies.
• Experience delivering instruction to students with intensive needs and/or speech and language impairment.
• Working knowledge of assistive technology devices and augmentative communication approaches.
• Ability to work well as a team member and with students in an active, fast-paced setting.
• Ability and willingness to support students in the classroom, at work, and in the community.
