Milton Town School District seeks a Special Needs Programming Specialist to join our PreK–grade 4 level team in Milton, Vermont. The role emphasizes instruction for students with intensive needs and collaboration with a Speech/Language team, using assistive technology as needed.

Hours are 6.5 per day (32.5 per week). Benefits include health, dental, and life insurance. The pay range is $23.50 to $31.10 per hour, based on experience and education.

Milton Town School District seeks a skilled Special Needs Programming Specialist to join our dynamic, fast-paced, student-centered PreK-grade 4 level team. Qualifications: Bachelor’s level or ability to effectively demonstrate the required competencies. Experience delivering instruction to students with intensive needs and/or speech and language impairment. Must demonstrate competencies after receiving formal training. Must possess or demonstrate the ability to attain a working knowledge of assistive technology devices and augmentative communication approaches. Ability to work well as a team member and with students in an active, fast-paced setting. Must meet Highly Qualified status. The hours are 6.5 hours per day and 32.5 hours per week.
