Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Special Education Teacher in the Casa Grande, AZ area to cover a maternity leave from January through April. This is a full-time, in-person school-based role based in the Casa Grande community.

Ideal candidates will hold an Arizona Special Education teaching license, possess a valid Fingerprint Clearance Card, and have experience supporting students through IEP goals in a classroom setting. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Education or Related Field.
• Active Arizona Special Education Teacher license.
• Active Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Previous experience working in the classroom setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create an inclusive classroom setting for all learners.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
