Job summary

Onward Education is partnering with a Boulder County school district in Colorado to recruit a Special Education Teacher for in-person support for elementary students (K-5) on the autism spectrum. The role runs through May 2027 with a 37.5 hour workweek and a start ASAP.

Candidates should hold a Colorado Special Education license and a Bachelor's degree in Special Education. Collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams is essential to help students meet IEP goals and progress

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Colorado Department of Education Special Education license.
• Experience supporting students with disabilities; autism experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized academic and behavioral instruction to elementary students (K-5) on the autism spectrum.
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with IEP goals.
