Sage Alliance Schools is seeking a dedicated special education teacher for a self-contained classroom (grades 2-4) addressing students with emotional regulation, anxiety, and behavioral challenges.

You will develop engaging lessons, differentiate instruction, track progress, and collaborate with staff to support student success and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey teaching certification (Special Education K-12).
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Subject area certification and/or relevant classroom experience.
• Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and student-centered learning.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Experience with Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Self-contained teaching experience.
• CPI training in verbal de-escalation and restraint.

In this role, you will be responsible for a special education classroom (grades 2-4) designed for students who struggle with emotional self-regulation, anxiety, and/or behavioral challenges.

What You’ll Need
