Job summary

Pocatello/Chubbuck School District No is seeking an Elementary Special Education Resource Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The position is funded through the district salary schedule and requires an Idaho Education Credential and current Idaho Certification.

The candidate will work collaboratively with staff, families, and administration to meet academic and behavioral goals, applying Differentiated Instruction and effective classroom management practices.

Qualifications

SALARY SCHEDULE: Placement on the District teacher salary schedule based on education and experience. Salary schedule located on www.sd25.us .

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must hold or be eligible to obtain an Idaho Education Credential endorsed in area of application. The candidate needs a current Idaho Certification. Familiarity with theICS and how that drives curriculum in the classroom is required. Knowledge of implementing Differentiated Instruction is essential. A strong work ethic, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative setting with stakeholders, community, staff, students, parents, and administration has a must. The candidate must provide evidence of strong classroom skills and student behavior management as well as a desire to meet the academic and behavior needs of all students. The candidate must be flexible and willing to work creatively with others. The candidate must love working with children.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Salary Range: Placement on District teacher salary schedule based upon education and experience.
