ESY Experience (Preferred)

Closing Date: Candidates will be reviewed upon submission with selection starting no sooner than five days following the posting. If additional applicants are needed and the posting is re-opened, subsequent submitted candidates will be reviewed upon submission closer to ESY programming dates.

Salary Range/Hourly Rate: $25/hr.

Dates of ESY: June 11, 2025 (Set Up) and June 12, 13, 16, 17, 18, 20, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 30 for (ESY Programming)

Work Days/Times: Proposed ESY Programming days: Mon-Fri per the ESY calendar; Proposed times: 8:50 am-12:35 pm (Dates, times and location may change based on student and/or District needs)

Student Level: Elementary, although positions may be adjusted to other age groups based on need.

Position Summary: The White Bear Lake Area Schools is currently seeking paraeducators to work in our Extended School Year (ESY) program. Performs intermediate human support work assisting classroom teachers by working with special needs students individually or in small groups, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of ESY teachers and the Student Support Services Administrators.

Education and /or Experience: High school diploma or GED and moderate experience working with children, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Associates/Technical degree preferred.

• Valid driver's license in the State of Minnesota
