ESY Experience (Preferred)

Salary Range/Hourly Rate: $40/hour.

Dates of ESY: June 11, 2025 (Set Up) and June 12, 13, 16, 17, 18, 20, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 30 for ESY Programming.

Work Days/Times: Proposed days: Mon-Fri per the ESY calendar; Proposed times: 8:45 am-12:45 pm. (Dates, times, and location may change based on student and/or District needs)

Student Level: Early Childhood Special Education

Proposed Site: Birch Lake Elementary (Final determination for the ESY site will be made closer to ESY programming)

Position Summary: The White Bear Lake Area Schools is seeking Special Education Teachers for our Extended School Year (ESY) program. The role involves providing a broad range of teaching and instructional services, assisting students in developing skills, attitudes, and knowledge to support future learning, using various teaching methods at different levels. Work is performed under limited supervision of the Student Support Services Administrators, with continuous oversight over Paraprofessionals.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree with coursework in special education teaching or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Experience working with elementary students is preferred.
• Experience with White Bear Lake Area Schools cluster programs is preferred.
