Responsibilities

• Provide direct instruction to students, both within the regular education classroom and outside the regular education classroom, in inclusive settings.
• Plan and modify regular curriculum.
• Consult with regular education staff.
• Monitor student progress in the regular education program.
• Develop IEP, determine goals and objectives.
• Prepare progress reports.
• Organize and chair team meetings and other meetings.
• Administer testing for evaluations and end of term/end of year reporting.
• Maintain contact with parents.
• Direct the work of teaching assistants.
