Qualifications

• Massachusetts DESE license in Moderate Disabilities PreK-6 and SEI Endorsement.
• Bachelor's degree; minimum three years in Special Education.
• Experience with multisensory reading approaches (e.g., Wilson, Orton-Gillingham).
• Strong communication skills and collaboration with teams.
• Knowledge of IEP processes and SPED regulations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a member of the Special Education Team writing educational plans and progress reports.
• Ensure IEP compliance and provide accommodations/modifications for instruction.
• Deliver multisensory reading instruction aligned with IEP goals.
• Monitor student data and develop measurable reading/writing goals.
• Coordinate schedules to meet IEP requirements and support staff.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related personnel.
• Implement assistive technologies and promote inclusive practices.
