Job summary

Unlimited Instruction, LLC in Harrisburg, PA seeks an Elementary Special Education Teacher to join our pathway program supporting students in special education settings. The ideal candidate has autism, ABA therapy, or Adaptive Curriculum experience and a bachelor’s degree in any field.

You will design instruction, assess student progress, manage behaviors, collaborate with staff and families, and help develop IEPs and BSPs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university in any field.
• Completed foundations of special education or willing to take the course.
• Will pursue provisional SPED license in PA for 2026-27.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with students who have autism, ABA therapy, or Adaptive Curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Establish relationships with students, peers, administrators, support staff and parents.
• Continually assess and monitor student achievement and maintain required documentation.
• Design and implement appropriate instructional strategies and activities.
• Manage student behaviors to maintain a conducive learning environment.
• Assist in management of student behaviors in other school settings as needed.
• Coordinate instructional activities with other staff to maximize learning.
• Participate in in-service and professional development activities and staff meetings.
• Communicate progress and expectations to students and parents.
• Collaborate with professionals to support schoolwide instructional activities.
• Use multimedia and technology to enhance learning.
• Plan lessons based on objectives for students with varying ability.
• Support development and management of IEPs and BSPs.
