Qualifications

• Hold an associate’s degree or higher in any subject from a GaPSC-accepted accredited institution.
• OR Have completed two years of college coursework with a grade of C or better at a GaPSC-accepted institution.
• OR Have passed the GACE Paraprofessional Assessment and hold a minimum of a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Provides one-on-one support to selected students in various classroom settings.
• Assists with preparation of instructional materials and classroom activities.
• Performs duties to meet needs of specific student populations, including personal assistance and behavior management.

Education

Associate's degree or higher in any subject

Two years of college coursework (60/90 hours) with grade C or better

GaPSC Paraprofessional Assessment or GED/high school diploma
