Responsibilities

• Collaborate with general and special education teachers, school administrators, and parents to provide educational support for students with disabilities.
• Serve as a liaison between the campus and district.
• Mentor teachers in implementing individual student accommodations and modifications as designed by IEP committees.
• Collaborate with teachers to design effective behavioral and academic interventions for students.
• Attend regularly scheduled special education staff meetings.
• Keep abreast of current issues and methodologies on programming models in educating students with disabilities.
