Job summary

The Classical Academy Colorado is seeking an Elementary Spanish Teacher to support the academic calendar and the mission of the school. You will implement engaging lessons, manage the classroom, and align instruction with the academy’s philosophy.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree, have elementary teaching experience, and are prepared to complete Spalding training along with CPR/First Aid certification. This is a full-time position based in Colorado Springs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience teaching in an elementary classroom setting preferred.
• Complete Spalding training provided.
• Must possess or be willing to obtain CPR, First Aid and Medical certification.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive atmosphere in the classroom to help ensure success for individual student learning.
• Creates and follows a plan for classroom management.
• Models and instructs virtuous character traits.
• Develops curriculum and lesson plans in line with The Classical Academy philosophy.
• Creates and administers assessments to monitor progress and prepares participation reports twice a year for parents.
• Communicates progress with parents and works together to ensure tasks are completed.
