Job summary

CALEX SPORTS INC is seeking part-time youth coaches for elementary-school programs in the Bay Area. Sessions run Monday–Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with about one hour per class and a possible extra 30 minutes of pre-care. Pay ranges from $50–$65 per session, and equipment is provided by us.

Responsibilities include teaching grades 5–10 with prepared lesson plans, keeping class sizes 8–16, and attending a brief training. Local residence and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old.
• Candidates must live locally and be available for in-person work.
• Fully vaccinated and willing to undergo TB test and Live Scan background check before starting.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must complete sending photo and short biography to upload on our website and introduce your sports experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes for students ages 5–10 using provided lesson plans.
• Manage class size (8–16 students) and maintain a positive environment.
• Attend a 2‑day training or shadowing session before starting.
• Equipment is provided; coach should have reliable transportation.
• Take attendance, manage student sign‑ins, and interact with parents/school staff.
• Capture a few class photos for documentation.
