Job summary

CALEX SPORTS INC is hiring part-time after-school coaches to lead classes at elementary schools across the Bay Area. Most sessions run 1 hour, with 2-5 hours of work per week, and pay is $50-$65 per session, with all equipment provided.

Candidates must live locally in the Bay Area, be 19+, and able to attend a short training session before starting. Reliable transportation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old upon application.
• Local resident available for in-person work.
• Coaching or working with kids experience preferred.
• Positive, active attitude with children.
• Reliable transportation.
• Fully vaccinated and willing to undergo TB test and Live Scan background check.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes for students ages 5-10 using provided lesson plans.
• Manage class size (8-16 students) and maintain a positive environment.
• Attend a 2-day training or shadowing session before starting.
• Use provided equipment; coach should have reliable transportation.
• Take attendance, manage sign-ins, and interact with parents/school staff.
• Capture a few class photos for documentation.
