Job summary

Wonderful College Prep Academy in California is seeking a Small Group Instructor to support classroom teachers by facilitating learning in small groups and leading targeted interventions.

The SGI will collaborate with peers, maintain high expectations, and help ensure our college‑going mission across the school day. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential in a fast-paced, team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Substitute permit preferred.
• Experience working with school‑aged children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support learning rotations in small groups with guidance from the teacher.
• Lead small group intervention for targeted students.
• Meet with the teacher regularly to discuss student progress and plan next steps for instruction and intervention.
• Lead the classroom in the absence of the lead teacher.
• Support campus supervision before and after school dismissal and related activities.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and planning sessions.
