Job summary

RISE STEM Academy for Girls in Lexington, KY seeks an Elementary Intervention Instructor to provide direct intervention services to students performing below grade level. This 0.2 FTE, part-time role focuses on small-group and one-on-one instruction within Fayette County Public Schools.

The successful candidate will hold a Kentucky teaching certificate, have a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred or National Board Certification), and bring collaborative skills to support CSIP and school

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Preferred Master’s degree or National Board Certification
• Three (3) years of successful classroom teaching (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Implements with fidelity research based intervention strategies and intervention programs designed to improve the achievement of targeted students.
• Provides intervention in small group and/or one-on‑one instructional settings.
• Provides strong leadership to the school in curriculum, instruction, assessment, and standards.
• Serves on appropriate school level team(s)/committees(s) and provides support to other teachers when planning/implementing interventions.
• Administers and analyzes data from diagnostic assessments as well as assists school with administration of universal screeners and other assessments as required by the school.

Bachelor’s degree

Master’s degree or National Board Certification
