Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to support elementary students across two district locations. This full-time role operates onsite with virtual guidance from a lead SLP to ensure mentorship and quality service.

You will conduct direct sessions under supervision, assist with assessments, help implement IEP goals, and maintain progress notes. Travel between two campuses is required to support student growth.

Qualifications

• Current SLPA licensure (or eligibility) in Virginia
• Experience in a school or pediatric setting
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with students, teachers, and families
• Ability to implement IEP goals and collect data
• Comfortable reporting to a supervisor virtually
• Adaptable and organized, able to manage a caseload between two locations

Responsibilities

• Conduct direct treatment sessions for students under the supervision of a remote SLP
• Assist with assessments and the implementation of speech and language interventions
• Support students with communication-related needs across diverse elementary classrooms
• Maintain accurate records and progress notes as requested by the supervising SLP
• Participate in team meetings, contributing valuable insights for student growth
• Travel between two locations within the district as needed
