Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to cover maternity leave at an elementary campus serving ages 5–11. The contract provides a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, starting ASAP and extending through early October 2026.

The role emphasizes screenings, assessments, and collaboration with teachers and families to support IEP goals and students’ language development in a supportive school community.

Qualifications

• Active SLP license held and in good standing.
• CCC certification (ASHA).
• GaPSC SLP Educator Certification required.
• Experience in school-based settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language screenings, assessments, and evaluations for elementary students.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans targeting articulation, language, social communication, and fluency.
• Collaborate with educators, school staff, and families to support student progress and IEP goals.
• Document session notes and maintain accurate student records in compliance with school and state requirements.
• Provide consultation and resources for teachers and parents to foster language-rich classrooms.
