Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support elementary students with communication needs in a Saint Louis, MO area school.

This on-site, full-time contract runs through May 2027, offering a stable schedule of 37.5 hours per week and the opportunity to work across one or two district sites while helping students find their voice through AAC and targeted therapy plans.

Qualifications

• Active Missouri SLP or SLPA license.
• Flexibility to adapt as student or district needs evolve.
• Experience supporting non-verbal students and AAC device users is highly valued.
• Ability to navigate time-sensitive credentialing (fingerprinting, technology forms).
• Enthusiasm for working across one or two school sites.
• Commitment to 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy to an elementary caseload with approximately 3400 service minutes.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students IEP goals.
• Utilize AAC devices and other technology for students who require alternative communication methods.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatment and progress.
• Potentially assist at an additional nearby school within the same district.
