Responsibilities

• Identify and provide appropriate services for children with communication disorders in phonological/articulation, language, voice and fluency areas.
• Maintain accurate, complete records as required by law and district policy and regulation.
• Attend staff meetings and serve on committees to coordinate speech-language services.
• Conduct speech-language evaluations and interpret findings to guide appropriate referrals and therapy.
• Develop and monitor individualized educational plans (IEPs) for students in speech-language therapy.
