Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to support elementary students in a contract role in Illinois. The SLP will provide direct and consultative services, diagnose and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders, and collaborate with teachers and families to create student-centered plans.

The position requires a valid state license and experience in school or pediatric settings.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Prior experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations is preferred.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to dynamic caseloads and support a multidisciplinary team.
• Comfortable with a flexible, evolving assignment that may include some coverage and assistance for another SLP mid-semester.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to elementary-age students.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to create student-centered intervention plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for each student per school guidelines.
• Support smooth transitions and continuity of care, including assisting a returning SLP as needed.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning.
• Engage in a welcoming school environment known for collaboration and support.
