Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for a full-time contract at an elementary school, September 4 through June 25. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM, totaling 35 hours weekly, with a positive, student-centered caseload in a dedicated school site.

The ideal candidate holds NJ SLP licensure, K-12 experience, and is capable of assessments, evaluations, and delivering therapy while collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families.

Qualifications

• Active NJ SLP licensure required.
• Experience working in K-12 or elementary school settings essential.
• Confident managing a diverse elementary caseload.
• Proficiency in conducting speech/language assessments, evaluations, and delivering comprehensive therapy services.
• Must be comfortable collaborating with school administration and district staff.
• Reliable transportation necessary; applicants should live reasonably close for daily commute.
• SLP Clinical Fellows (CF) and SLP Assistants (SLPA) not eligible due to supervision requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary students in need.
• Complete thorough assessments, evaluations, and documentation in compliance with school and district policies.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each students Individualized Education Program (IEP).
• Communicate effectively with parents and school teams regarding student progress.
• Maintain timely and accurate records of services and reports.
